life and situations always miserable, because to stand along with truth and reality some time make harsh and nonacceptable surrounding around as.here I am telling you a wonder-full story of success from the world of the ignorant scientific community to the highly successful Nobel laureate in chemistry, dan Schechtman, well-known material scientist.

dan Schechtman, was an Israelian chemist, professor at Israel Institute of technology, he is working  and researching in the field of crystallography, one of the beautiful topics in chemistry. the branch of chemistry which deals with the structural and physical illustration of crystal. then obviously you may doubt what is crystel?crstel is a substance, with well orderly and periodically arranged atoms over the lattice. actually, crystal is like a successful person, well-arranged pattern, similar property in everywhere without any imperfection over it, 

      

at the time of 1981-83 Schechtman working as a professor at Technion University, he melted the magnesium manganese compound and cooled, then he finds the structure of crystal using transmission electron microscopy. the findings were amazing because scientists believed that the crystallographical pattern actually shows mainly two-property, one is the well-ordered arrangement and another was periodicity, but the new crystal did not have periodicity, this is one of the shocking news over the scientific community.but no one belive or accept the fact they completely ignore the paper.most of the people criticized him, especially the double Nobel laureate Linus Pauling, one of the leading scientists in the century completely ignored the fact and say like this "There is no such thing as quasicrystals, only quasi-scientists."

     

        

but Schechtman was too confident toward her finding because he knows that the continues perseverance and dedication make one garter. sometimes the soul of the cosmos makes time to give the result, but it doesn't mean that it will never return it to you, yes definitely you get the result with a bonus. he believed him very much, but the consequence was too harsh her university authority decided to dismiss him, to avoid bad image, but he still confident without any deviation from her point, he stayed strong. years later the discovery of Quasicrystal was another the shocking discovery not for science but for the community, they finally believed the existence of nonperiodic crystals, known as a quasicrystal.

                      

quasicrystal crystal is a system without translational symmetry you can find it in Al-Mn, Ni-CO  etc.at last 29 years after he got Nobel prize in chemistry for this discovery in 2011.

 Nobel Committee at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said that "His discovery was extremely controversial," but that his work "eventually forced scientists to reconsider their conception of the very nature of matter." Through Shechtman's discovery, several other groups were able to form similar quasicrystals, finding these materials to have low thermal and electrical conductivity, while possessing high structural stability. Quasicrystals have also been found naturally.
